Challengger

Challengger is a running challenge app designed to help individuals, friends, and clubs stay motivated and track progress together. Available free on iOS and Android, it lets users create or join challenges built around distance, number of runs, or weekly consistency. Goals can be personal, shared with an invited group, open to a running club, or set up as a head-to-head contest between rival clubs.

The app tracks runs using a phone’s GPS, recording distance, pace, and route without requiring a running watch or other extra hardware. Garmin devices and Apple Watch are also supported, with runs syncing automatically when connected. Live progress statistics show distance, completed runs, averages, and time remaining, while leaderboards update as activities are logged. An activity feed helps club members follow one another’s runs, celebrate milestones, and offer encouragement.

Challengger also provides invitation links so friends can join challenges after downloading the app. Its service brings goal-setting, activity tracking, and friendly competition together in one place, helping runners focus on their progress and keep moving toward a shared finish line.
