Chalupa v Podbezdězí is a family-run wedding venue set in an 18th-century rural estate beneath Bezděz Castle, in the Máchův kraj region of the Czech Republic. Owners Žanet and Jiří Bartákovi transformed the once-neglected property into a welcoming place for couples seeking a private celebration surrounded by nature and historic character. The estate includes a timbered cottage, a spacious brick barn, a stone building with a summer kitchen and bar, and a courtyard beside an old fruit orchard suitable for wedding ceremonies.
The barn’s main hall can seat up to 80 guests, while accommodation is available for 25 people; camping is also possible on the grounds. Couples rent the entire venue from Friday to Sunday, with furnishings, wedding decorations, accommodation, utilities, and the owners’ assistance included in the 2027 price of CZK 54,000. Catering and drinks are arranged by guests, with recommendations available.
