The Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Stara Zagora is a non-governmental non-profit organization, a voluntary association of regional businesses, registered for public benefit. It was established in 1991 with the aim of representing and protecting employer interests and providing specialized business services to its members and clients. The chamber in Stara Zagora is part of the unified system of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). The priorities in the activity of CCI – Stara Zagora are in the field of: • Assistance to companies from the region to find new commercial partners for business cooperation and new markets for exporting their products • Attracting investment and creating new jobs • Assistance to companies and organizations from the region to participate in international European projects financing business and public purposes • Strengthening the connection between science and business and assistance in the commercialization of scientific developments • Support for the development of dual training • Encouraging entrepreneurship among young people, increasing qualifications and career development • Promotion of the unique products of the region, bringing competitive advantages - wine, products based on rose and other essential oils, dairy products, organic foods and health supplements, IT solutions, innovative products and technologies created in the region • Promotion of the natural features, cultural and historical heritage of the region • Support of projects and initiatives of socially significant goals • To fulfil its goals and priorities, the Chamber cooperates with institutions at the national, regional and municipal level, with international organizations, with the non-governmental sector, with educational and scientific institutions, with companies, experts and the media.
