The Chambre Funéraire de Corbas is a public funeral facility in the Lyon metropolitan area, established in 1993 and owned by the City of Corbas. Managed by Le Service Funéraire, a public funeral operator, it provides families and friends with a dedicated place to gather and pay their respects before a funeral. Renovated and redesigned in 2019, the 130-square-metre facility offers two permanent viewing rooms, accessible around the clock.
Families can arrange secure access by keypad outside standard access hours, allowing them to visit at a time that suits them. The facility is open to everyone, regardless of which funeral operator they have chosen. Its services include the presentation of the deceased and a welcoming presence for visiting families.
