About Changing Ireland
Changing Ireland is an independent, community-based national magazine established in 2001. With a focus on community development and social inclusion, it strives to increase support and recognition for the value of this work in creating a more just and inclusive society. Located in Moyross, Limerick, Changing Ireland gives a platform to individuals who are marginalized and to those who work collectively to effect positive change in both their community and society.
Managed by Changing Ireland Community Media CLG, it is a not-for-profit organization with a voluntary board of directors. The editor, Allen Meagher, leads a dedicated editorial team that includes journalist and social media support from Kathy Masterson. Changing Ireland also offers advertising opportunities and can be contacted at their headquarters in Moyross.
With some income through social enterprise and core funding from the Department of Rural and Community Development, Changing Ireland continues its vital work in empowering communities and promoting social justice
