Channeling Youth

Channeling Youth is a speech therapy practice focused on helping children with communication disorders and supporting the families who care for them. Led by owner and speech-language pathologist Jessica Wiggins, M.A., CCC-SLP, the practice provides personalized services shaped around each child’s needs, interests and developmental level. Its work supports speech sounds, language understanding and expression, social skills, and functional communication at home. Therapy sessions use engaging, interactive activities to encourage children’s participation, while parents and caregivers receive strategies to reinforce progress between sessions.

Channeling Youth also offers parent consultations and guidance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and educational resources, helping families prepare for school meetings and advocate for appropriate support. Services are available through teletherapy, which can make participation easier for families and allow children to work in a familiar setting. The practice emphasizes building communication, independence and confidence, with goals that can extend to academic performance and social interaction.
