Chapters Celebrant

Chapters Celebrant is a personal celebrancy service led by Damian, creating bespoke ceremonies that tell each client’s story in their own way. Based in Padiham, Lancashire, Damian works with individuals and families to plan meaningful occasions shaped around their wishes, relationships and life experiences.

The service includes wedding ceremonies that celebrate a couple’s unique journey, compassionate funeral ceremonies that honour a loved one’s life, and naming ceremonies to welcome new family members. Each ceremony is thoughtfully written and designed to reflect the people and stories at its heart. Chapters Celebrant also offers guidance and support from the first meeting through to the day of the ceremony.

Damian graduated as a certified Master Celebrant from the Academy of Modern Celebrancy in 2025, following a 34-year career in education, including 17 years as a primary school headteacher. His experience in storytelling, creative writing and public speaking informs his confident, considerate approach. Through Chapters Celebrant, he aims to create personal, memorable ceremonies that honour each client’s vision.
