Charger Pride

Charger Pride Scholarship Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping students at Tulsa Memorial High School pursue education and career opportunities after graduation. Founded around the support of Memorial alumni and friends, the foundation raises funds for scholarships that can help seniors pay for college or career training. Its mission extends beyond financial assistance: it also aims to help students succeed after they enroll, supporting their progress toward becoming contributing members of society.

Memorial seniors apply for scholarships, take part in interviews, and receive awards at the school’s Senior Assembly in May. The foundation’s volunteer board includes Memorial alumni from five graduating classes. Board members meet regularly, attend reunions to raise awareness, and host Charger Pride Trivia Night. Alumni and community supporters can contribute through donations and pledges, helping fund students’ educational goals. The foundation reports that it has funded more than $423,750 in scholarships and that 98 cents of every dollar goes toward tuition.
