Charis Community Church, located in Bloomington, IL, is a Gospel-Centered, Disciple-Making, Church-Planting Church. No matter who you are or where you are coming from, you are welcome at Charis. Charis, which translates to grace in Greek, embodies the core of our church. We believe that God's grace is the foundation of our undeserved and unmerited hope for loving God and our neighbors as commanded. Recognizing that we all fall short of God's call for perfection, Charis serves as a community of good news for sinners in need of a Savior.

Our mission is to follow Jesus' example by sacrificially and generously serving one another, loving one another, and pointing each person to the grace and truth of God. We also strive to extend this love and grace to our neighbors, co-workers, and even strangers through the message and ministry of Jesus Christ. At Charis, we believe in The Gospel Coalition Statement of Faith as a clear and reasonable expression of our beliefs.
