Charles Evans Artist is a brand that offers a range of artistic products and services. Charles Evans, a Yorkshire-born artist, discovered his passion for painting during his early career in catering. He was commissioned by the National Coal Board to create artwork for their boardrooms, which led him to further pursue his artistic talents.

After attending Lincoln Art College, Charlie's career in the RAF allowed him to develop his catering skills while representing his regiment in events such as 3-day eventing and motorcycle racing. Eventually, he settled in Northumberland where he focused on his art, painting, and teaching. Charlie's no-nonsense approach to painting has made him a respected figure in the art community, and he now travels across the country and abroad, sharing his expertise with amateur artists.

Charlie is a representative of Daler-Rowney and believes in the quality of their art materials, which are available for purchase through his e-shop. He also writes instructional books on painting, published by Search Press.
