The Charles Telfair Centre is a non-profit initiative of Charles Telfair Education, Mauritius. We are a multidisciplinary platform for cutting-edge knowledge sharing and debate in Mauritius and the region. We offer a safe space where dominant discourses can be challenged and innovative ideas and perspectives scrutinised. We showcase rigorous analyses featuring best practices, pioneering initiatives, and creative solutions to support Mauritius and the region in their ability to respond to challenges and seize opportunities across social, economic and policy domains. The Charles Telfair Centre works with a national and international network of thought leaders and academic experts who contribute to our platform by sharing quality research, analyses and experiences from multidisciplinary perspectives.

About Charles Telfair Centre
The Charles Telfair Centre is a multidisciplinary platform for cutting-edge knowledge sharing and debate in Mauritius. As a non-profit initiative of the Charles Telfair Campus, their aim is to challenge dominant discourses and scrutinize innovative ideas and perspectives. With a focus on social, economic, and policy domains, they showcase rigorous analyses, best practices, pioneering initiatives, and creative solutions to support Mauritius and the region in responding to challenges and seizing opportunities.
The Centre features a wide range of topics, including business and economics, digital disruption, education, society and development, and technology and science. They publish quality contributions in the form of articles, podcasts, and webinars, inviting authors and community members to participate in debates and discussions through their comments section. By fostering dynamic and constructive exchanges, the Centre aims to build knowledge and understanding.
Collaborating with a network of thought leaders and academic experts, the Charles Telfair Centre provides a platform for diverse perspectives and promotes academic freedom, respect, and trust. Their contributions are published under the Creative Commons License, enabling unrestricted access to knowledge for non-commercial purposes. Partnering with Curtin University, the Charles Telfair Campus planted the seed of this project to grow and give back to the community, with a vision to adapt and expand as circumstances evolve
