Charleston Frogman

Charleston Frogman Swim is an annual open-water swimming event in Charleston, South Carolina, dedicated to honoring fallen Navy SEAL warriors and supporting their families. Scheduled for October 4, 2026, the event features a 4.1-mile course through Charleston Harbor, beginning at the Charleston Maritime Center and passing landmarks including The Battery and the Ashley River before finishing at Brittlebank Pier.

The swim raises funds for the Navy SEAL Foundation, which provides immediate and ongoing support to Naval Special Warfare families, including scholarships, family assistance, and lifetime care for the loved ones of fallen operators. The event brings together swimmers, volunteers, sponsors, and spectators to remember those who served and contribute to the foundation’s mission.

Participants can register to swim the harbor course, with wetsuits optional, or volunteer in roles such as kayaking, course marshalling, and supporting the after-party. Corporate and individual sponsorship opportunities are also available. Presented as an official Navy SEAL Foundation event, Charleston Frogman Swim combines athletic challenge with a community tribute and charitable purpose.
