About For the Love of Art
For the Love of Art is a charming art studio located in Charleston, South Carolina. Founded by Scott and Amy Brekke, this studio offers a wonderful place for creative spirits to come together, make memories, and indulge in the joy of art. Originally introduced to the studio as patrons, Scott and Amy fell in love with the quaint space housed inside a historic house in Charleston.
When they learned that the original artist was planning to sell or close the studio, they knew they had to step in and make it their own to preserve the legacy of For the Love of Art. Now, they are thrilled to share their passion for art with others and provide a welcoming environment for painting and creativity. Whether you're attending a class, hosting a private event, or picking up one of their art kits, For the Love of Art is dedicated to fostering a love for art in all its visitors
