About Charleys Creek Campgrounds
Charleys Creek Campgrounds, located in Chinchilla, is more than just a campground - it's an unforgettable experience. Owned and operated by the Keating family, the campground offers a range of services and amenities to ensure a memorable stay for all guests. The story of Charleys Creek Campgrounds began in January 2020 when Steven and Ursula Keating found themselves facing the harsh reality of drought.
Determined to diversify and make a difference, they took the plunge into the world of tourism and created a unique camping experience on their property, Clover Hill. Previously owned by Val and Iven Hewett, Clover Hill has a rich history of hosting various events and camps. From color runs to team bonding activities, it has left locals with fond memories.
The Keating family, with their 4 children, 4250 acres of land, and a passion for breeding Wagyu and Angus cattle as well as Stock Horses, have successfully built their dream on the banks of the Condamine River. With their expertise in farming and their commitment to providing a quality experience, guests can expect a truly memorable stay at Charleys Creek Campgrounds
