Charlie Hanavich is a self-taught artist and contemporary painter based in Atlanta, Georgia. With a passion for painting that emerged later in life, Charlie attended The University of Alabama, studying Advertising and Art History. It was during a brief but transformative visit to New York that his creativity was reignited, setting him on the path to becoming an artist.

In 2012, Charlie moved to Miami, drawn by the city's thriving art scene and its reputation as host to international art fairs like Art Basel. Immersed in Miami's artistic landscape, Charlie developed his distinctive style of painting, constantly refining and evolving his technique.

Notably, Charlie's most recent body of work, the CH Grid Series, is strongly influenced by Chuck Close. His unique and captivating paintings can be found in private homes and commercial spaces both domestically and internationally.
