Charlies Fishing Charters

Charlie’s Fishing Charters offers guided fishing and sightseeing trips departing from Carolina Beach, North Carolina. Led by Captain Charles Powell, a USCG-licensed, fully insured captain with more than 30 years of local fishing experience, the charters explore inshore, nearshore and wreck-fishing waters. Trips target a wide range of species, including flounder, red drum, black drum, speckled and gray trout, bluefish, Spanish and king mackerel, sharks, whiting and spots.

The service also offers educational fishing trips for children, designed to introduce young anglers to local marine life and coastal ecosystems in a safe, engaging setting. Guests seeking a more relaxed outing can book sightseeing cruises through the Cape Fear and Carolina Beach area, with views of the Intracoastal Waterway, historic landmarks and native wildlife.

Fishing charters include a blanket North Carolina fishing license, fishing equipment, tackle and ice. Customers can review charter rates and arrange a trip by phone. The business serves individuals and families looking for hands-on fishing experiences or scenic time on the water along the Carolina coast.
