About Charlie's Place
Charlie's Place is a renowned brand in Washington, DC, dedicated to serving our homeless neighbors since 1990. Founded as a non-denominational, anti-hunger, homeless ministry of St. Margaret’s Episocopal Church, our mission is to provide essential support and assistance to those experiencing homelessness.
Over the past three decades, our program has grown to encompass a range of services aimed at addressing the social, emotional, and health needs of our neighbors. At the heart of our efforts is the breakfast meal program, operating from Tuesdays to Saturdays. However, Charlie's Place is more than just a meal service.
It is a place where everyone, regardless of their background, finds a warm and welcoming environment.
