Starting from the ground up, Charlotte traveled from horse show to horse show, building relationships with customers and selling top-quality tack and show essentials.

As Charlotte's Saddlery gained a faithful following in Houston and surrounding communities, a second store was opened in Tomball in 1984. Recognizing the growing demand for Western saddles and equipment, the store expanded its product lines in 1994. By the year 2000, Charlotte's Saddlery had taken its excellent customer service online, serving equestrians across the country.
