Charlottesville Ballet is a professional ballet company, dance academy, and nonprofit organization located in Charlottesville, VA. Since its founding in 2007, Charlottesville Ballet has been dedicated to dancer wellness, making it the only full-time professional dance company in the area. Led by Co-Directors Sara Clayborne and Emily Hartka, the company is committed to raising the bar of professional ballet while providing a healthy working environment for the artists.

At Charlottesville Ballet, all body types are celebrated, and there is no rigid physical aesthetic for its dancers. The professional company consists of fifteen talented dancers from across the United States and abroad, showcasing world-class artistry. Additionally, the Trainee Program welcomes advanced students as they transition into becoming professional artists.
