Charlotte van Sorgen is an Amsterdam-based artist whose work explores the intimate connections people feel with themselves, one another, and nature. Drawing inspiration from the known and unknown, including forms found in the universe, the earth, and living organisms, she creates art that reflects curiosity and openness to the unexpected. Since 2019, van Sorgen has worked with traditional hand-sculpting techniques to create distinctive bronze sculptures.

Her practice focuses on bronze’s individual qualities, resulting in forms that are raw yet subtly sophisticated, each with a presence of its own. Featured works include polished and patinated bronze pieces, alongside paintings and objects. Her work is displayed in public and private settings around the world.

In the Netherlands, sculptures can be seen at Hotel De L’Europe in Amsterdam and at Noëlle Baartmans; galleries include Art Salon Anaïs in Amsterdam and Galerie Virginie Lesage in Paris.
