About Châtaigne
Châtaigne, a product of VZ Labs, helps restaurants take takeaway and delivery orders through messaging apps. Acting as a digital sales agent, it lets customers browse an in-chat menu and place orders by speaking, typing or tapping, without creating an account or downloading an app. Customers can pay within the chat and receive delivery updates in the same conversation.
The platform connects to a restaurant’s existing point-of-sale system rather than replacing it. Châtaigne says it integrates with more than 100 POS systems, as well as major payment providers and loyalty programs, routing structured orders into the systems a business already uses. It supports multiple locations, with location-specific menus, hours and fulfilment rules, and offers custom integrations for larger operations. Staff can review conversations and take over when personal assistance is needed.
WhatsApp ordering is available to try, Instagram is in beta, and TikTok and iMessage are listed as coming soon. Châtaigne uses flat-fee pricing rather than commissions, with costs based on locations, channels and integrations.
