Chatalans

Chatterie des Chatalans is a family-run Norwegian Forest cat breeding cattery based in Perpignan, in France’s Pyrénées-Orientales region. The cattery raises its cats in a warm home environment, where kittens are free to explore and become accustomed to everyday household sounds. Its breeding choices emphasize gentle, sociable temperaments and adaptability, with lineages carefully considered to support stable character.

The cattery offers Norwegian Forest cats, including females, males and kittens, for prospective owners seeking a companion. Kittens are registered with LOOF, and the site invites visitors to enquire about those currently available and upcoming litters. The cats receive genetic and HCM testing every two years. They are accustomed to indoor living and can adapt to a new home, while needing enough space to play.

Chatterie des Chatalans also provides practical guidance on raising and settling in a cat. Its approach highlights suitable nutrition, necessary care and a family atmosphere focused on the cats’ wellbeing. Interested visitors can contact the cattery to ask questions or arrange to meet the cats.
