About Chats Bua Le Nna Foundation
The Chats BuaLeNna Foundation is a non-profit company limited by guarantee, established on January 14, 2022, in remembrance of the late Chatapiwa Keakantse. Based in Gaborone, Botswana, the foundation aims to address the grave issue of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). GBV refers to violence directed against individuals because of their gender or violence that disproportionately affects persons of a particular gender. Rooted in gender inequality, the abuse of power, and harmful norms, GBV is a serious violation of human rights and a life-threatening issue that demands urgent attention.
The foundation offers various resources and services to combat GBV.
