Check You Gen is an informational website focused on genealogy, DNA, and human genetics. Its articles explore how genetic inheritance can help people understand family history, trace ancestry, and learn about the origins of human populations. Topics include DNA testing, genetic analysis for genealogical research, the relationship between DNA and family generations, and the role of genes in human evolution.

The site also discusses interpreting genetic information and how it may relate to health, individual characteristics, and predispositions, presenting these subjects as areas for learning and exploration. Its content is organized as articles and includes featured, popular, and recent posts, making it a resource for readers interested in discovering more about their roots and the science behind inheritance. The available information presents Check You Gen primarily as an educational publication; it does not establish that the brand itself conducts DNA tests or provides genetic analysis services.

Instead, it offers written material introducing relevant concepts and explaining how modern genetic technologies can support the study of ancestry and family history
