CheckCG

CheckCG is a browser-based aircraft weight-and-balance calculator designed to help pilots verify loading before each flight. Using aircraft data from type certificate data sheets (TCDS) and pilot operating handbooks (POH), it combines empty weight with crew, passenger, baggage, and fuel loads to calculate total weight, moment, and center of gravity. The calculator checks results against the manufacturer’s approved limits and envelope, including landing and zero-fuel conditions.

This helps users assess whether an aircraft is within its weight limits and whether its center of gravity is positioned safely for stability and control. CheckCG is free to use, requires no sign-up, and works offline in a browser. Its supported aircraft include models from Beechcraft, Cessna, Piper, Tecnam, and Diamond, such as the King Air Echo 90, Cessna 172S and 152, Piper PA-28-161 and PA-38-112, Tecnam P2008 JC and P2002 JF, and Diamond DA20-C1 and DA40.
