About CHECOD AFRICA
CHECOD is the Center for Health Economics Development. As a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2010, CHECOD aims to support the growth of the health economy in Africa through health economics and policy-oriented research, knowledge creation, dissemination, and advocacy. The organization comprises a group of African multidisciplinary professionals dedicated to promoting the utilization of indigenous health professionals in national development and developing capabilities in health economics in the region.
Over the years, CHECOD has made notable contributions in the health financing policy and planning landscape in Nigeria. They offer various services and initiatives, including health account estimation, capacity building, and technical support for the development of strategic plans and annual operational plans in different states.
