CheekyChess

CheekyChess is an Italian game brand reimagining chess through playful, unconventional variants. Founded in 2023, it began as a small, self-produced experiment: the team printed its first Core Deck in Italian and introduced it to homes, clubs, and events across Italy. The enthusiastic response inspired the company to bring its approach to players worldwide.

CheekyChess creates chess variant games featuring creative expansions, new rules, quirky characters, and unexpected strategies. Its games add room for chaos, laughter, and bold moves while respecting classic chess and aiming to expand, rather than replace, chess culture. Designed to make each match more unpredictable and engaging, CheekyChess appeals to players looking for a fresh way to enjoy the game.

The brand sells its Core Deck through its online shop, with Italian copies available, and is preparing an international launch through Kickstarter. CheekyChess also shares news, sneak peeks, and exclusive offers through its newsletter, and invites chess associations, creators, and players to join its growing community.
