Cheetah Outreach Trust - Conservation Cheetah Outreach Trust, founded in 2001, is a non-profit organization dedicated to nature conservation and the long-term survival of the free-ranging cheetah and its ecosystem in Southern Africa. With only an estimated 7,100 cheetahs left in the wild, their decline is a result of habitat loss due to human population growth and the proliferation of domestic animals. At Cheetah Outreach Trust, we understand the complexity of cheetah conservation and have been working tirelessly for over 20 years to protect the South African cheetah.

Our efforts include engaging with landowners in cheetah range areas to find ways of mitigating human-wildlife conflict through our Livestock Guarding Dog Programme. We also collaborate with local schools, teaching young children about conservation. Additionally, we conduct research projects focused on cheetah health, human-wildlife conflict, and conservation education.

We have produced publications and technical reports for international audiences and are planning a groundbreaking census in cheetah range areas.
