Chef à la Maison is the private-chef and cooking-lesson service of Alessandro, a trained chef based in Florence. Drawing on experience in Berlin restaurants, bistros and high-end hotels, Alessandro brings international cooking together with Italian and Tuscan cuisine, creating a personal dining experience in the comfort of clients’ homes. The service is suited to meals with family or friends, commemorative occasions, and business gatherings.

For private dining, Alessandro discusses the menu and guest count with the client, checks the kitchen and equipment, and agrees on the timing. He purchases the agreed ingredients, prepares the meal, and cleans the equipment and surfaces used. Clients provide drinks. Menus may feature dishes such as burrata and spinach tortellacci, slow-cooked duck, fried cod, and seasonal desserts.

Chef à la Maison also offers in-home cooking lessons for groups of at least two. Clients choose a recipe or preparation with Alessandro, who guides them through preparation and cooking. Ingredients and kitchen arrangements are agreed in advance, and the workspace is cleaned after the lesson.
