ChefExtract is a recipe-saving app operated by Lorsu Oy, designed to help home cooks turn social media videos and online recipes into organized, searchable recipes. Users can paste a link from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, or a recipe website, and the app extracts the ingredients and instructions, then formats them for easy use. The service is available on iPhone and Android, and users can try saving a first recipe without creating an account or paying a subscription.

Saved recipes are collected in a personal digital cookbook that can be searched by title, ingredient, or category and accessed offline on a phone. ChefExtract also creates shopping lists from recipes, combining ingredient quantities when possible. For dietary flexibility, its AI features can generate vegan or vegetarian alternatives and reusable adaptations such as gluten-free or dairy-free versions. The app aims to replace scattered screenshots and bookmarks with structured recipes that are practical to find, shop for, and cook.
