cheLA

Bringing together culture, community, and technology, it supports collaborative artistic research, experimentation, learning, and public engagement through a network of creative initiatives. Its work spans sound and performance, audiovisual production, design and architecture, ecological practice, cycling, and collective creativity.

Programs include TaPeTe, focused on performative and sonic research; TaREA, which promotes knowledge production and new audiovisual forms; TaMaCo, dedicated to design and architecture; and BioCulturas, exploring nature through collective creation and experimentation. PedaLúdico uses the bicycle as a tool for cultural and creative projects, while Creatividades Colectivas investigates collaborative processes, particularly in times of crisis. cheLA also hosts residencies, workshops, exhibitions, screenings, performances, festivals, and community projects. Recent activities include sound explorations in Parque Patricios, public presentations of residency projects, and the Festival de Nueva Ópera de Buenos Aires. Through these interconnected initiatives, cheLA offers artists, researchers, students, and local communities opportunities to create, exchange ideas, and engage with contemporary cultural practices.
