Cherished Birth

Cherished Birth is a doula care service led by Cherish Perez in Lakewood, Washington. Supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the transition to life with a baby, Cherish offers compassionate, personalized care intended to help parents feel informed, empowered, and supported. Her services include private childbirth education tailored to each family’s needs, with guidance on physical changes, labor options, and postpartum transitions.

As a labor doula, she provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support, along with advocacy throughout labor and birth. Cherished Birth also offers lactation support to help parents navigate feeding in the early days, as well as postpartum care by call or text for questions about feeding, baby care, and whether a concern is normal. When needs are more complex, Cherish can direct families to appropriate resources.

She welcomes partners as part of the experience and works with families across the Puget Sound region, including Tacoma, Lakewood, Puyallup, Seattle, Olympia, and nearby communities. Cherished Birth presents pregnancy and parenthood as a meaningful transition deserving care and recognition
