Cherith Coop

Cherith Coop makes handcrafted, portable chicken coops for homesteads in Montana, Idaho, and Washington. Built locally in Thompson Falls, Montana, its ready-to-use coops arrive assembled, so customers can take one home and house their hens without a construction project. The range includes a Small Coop for 5–6 hens, a Standard Coop for 8–10 hens, and a Deluxe Coop for up to 20 hens. Small and Standard models are available with or without a wire run.

Designed for comfort, convenience, and protection, the coops feature secure nesting areas, roosting rods, wheels for mobility, metal roofing, moisture-resistant floors, and predator-resistant construction. Fir T1-11 siding, protective oil-based stain, and galvanized fasteners contribute to their durable build. Cherith Coop sells online and through local dealers, with locations across Northwestern Montana, the Idaho Panhandle, and Eastern Washington. Customers arrange pickup themselves; coops fit in a full-size pickup bed or can be moved with a small trailer. The company also offers a digital brochure, state poultry regulations, and help choosing a coop.
