Cherryclan

Cherry Clan is a personal modelling website featuring articles and project updates by a railway modeller. Its focus is on building and detailing model locomotives, wagons, railway stock and layouts, with work documented across 7mm and 2mmFS scales. The site is an independent collection of hobby content rather than a commercial brand or retailer; it does not advertise products or paid services.

Projects include several locomotive builds, such as a Midland 3F, an LNWR M7 railmotor, and models of the Sentinel Y10, Jinty, Ivatt 2-6-0 and Standard 4MT. Articles also cover wagon construction, including LNWR vehicles, and stock projects such as a Siphon F. Practical topics include making coupling rods, assembling tender bodies, working with etched brass and metal kits, soldering, building track and developing the Holywell Town layout. The site also shares occasional digressions and background material related to railway modelling and local railway history. With project notes, techniques and progress reports, Cherry Clan offers an informative record of one modeller’s ongoing work and interests.
