About Peel Cheshire Homes Inc
Peel Cheshire Homes Streetsville, located in Ontario's Peel region, provides alternative housing for adults with physical disabilities and brain injuries. As an affiliated member of the Cheshire movement, a global organization known for its support of individuals with disabilities, Peel Cheshire Homes has been a vital part of the Streetsville Community since 1975. The 10-bed Cheshire House offers exceptional service, supporting residents with Activities of Independent Daily Living (AIDL's) and promoting independence.
With 24-hour on-site staff and funding from the Ministry of Health, the residence also receives rent subsidies through the Region of Peel. Moreover, Peel Cheshire Homes is a proud recipient of a 3-year CARF Accreditation, ensuring high-quality care and support for its residents. Additionally, while the organization is funded as a not-for-profit, it also welcomes donations and volunteers to support ongoing projects and improvements for the home.
