Chesky Records

Chesky Records is an acclaimed independent audiophile label with a rich history of producing high-quality music. Their philosophy is simple: to create the sensation of live musicians playing in a real three-dimensional space. They achieve this by utilizing advanced technology, meticulous microphone placement, and a dedicated recording team that pays attention to every detail.

Their commitment to excellence in both the artistic and technical aspects of their releases has earned them global recognition and a Grammy Award. Chesky Records was founded in 1978 by brothers David and Norman Chesky, who were driven by their passion for music and their desire to capture it in innovative ways. Over the years, Chesky Records has built a renowned catalog of music, including jazz, classical, world music, and more.

They have also been at the forefront of technological advancements, being the first to use oversampling and high-resolution recordings, and even embracing the use of DVD technology. Their latest venture, the Binaural+ Series, offers an immersive listening experience, capturing the sound of music as if you were sitting in front of the band. With their meticulous attention to detail and their dedication to delivering beautiful music, Chesky Records continues to push the boundaries of recorded music and bring the pleasure of live performances to your ears
