Chess Gallery is an online resource for exploring and studying chess games. The site offers several ways to discover games, including search, a random-game feature, and a year index, allowing visitors to browse its collection in different ways. Users can study available games, bookmark favorites for later reference, and add personal notes to support their review. Chess Gallery also lets visitors embed games on their own websites, making it easier to share chess content.

For developers and app creators, the service provides a Chess Games Reference API, available by subscription, for use in building an iPhone app or another type of application. The website includes information about the API, as well as contact details, terms of use, and a privacy policy. Registration and login options are also provided. With game discovery and study tools, bookmarking and note-taking features, website embeds, and API access, Chess Gallery supports chess enthusiasts reviewing games and creators seeking to include chess-game content in digital projects.
