ConTact C.A.R.E is an equine, canine and human treatment and training practice led by Greg Jamieson, an advanced practitioner with a long background in professional show jumping and horse training. Its gentle, non-invasive approach aims to identify and release areas of held pressure that may restrict movement, comfort and normal function. Treatments are intended for people and animals experiencing pain or discomfort, with the goal of supporting greater ease and balance.
The practice also offers certified foundation courses, teaching students to understand and apply the ConTact C.A.R.E method; some graduates are developing clinics and pursuing practitioner certification. Greg provides appointments and training at locations in Kapiti, Manakau and Pauatahanui.
Previously, Chester Farm in the Maratoto Valley offered riding lessons, clinics and camping experiences alongside ConTact C.A.R.E. The farm was sold in 2023, after which Greg shifted his focus to clinics and training for people and animals. His equestrian services draw on decades of riding and coaching experience, including selection for New Zealand’s senior representative team and competition at Grand Prix level.
