RSPCA Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Branch is a brand that focuses on the welfare of animals and relies heavily on the support of volunteers and the local community. With almost 600 animals passing through their doors each year, they provide life-changing care and forever homes for these animals. The branch is self-funded and independent, making fundraising a crucial part of their work.

Volunteers have the opportunity to contribute to fundraising efforts, such as attending store or street collections and assisting with events. By becoming a volunteer, not only do you make a significant difference to the welfare of animals, but you also gain valuable experience and skills. Volunteering has been shown to improve physical and mental health, boost confidence and self-esteem, and provide excellent opportunities for career development.

With various volunteer roles available, there is something for everyone. The branch encourages diversity and welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds, whether retired, students, or individuals looking to make a positive impact on their community
