Chez Mara

Chez Mara is a French-inspired bistro, café and wine bar in Rostock’s KTV district, created as a welcoming “little piece of Paris.” Opened in 2025, it brings together classic bistro flavours and a modern vegetarian and vegan approach, with a personal, host-led atmosphere that makes guests feel at home.

The menu features bistro classics, alongside homemade cakes, fine pâtisserie and a small selection of snacks for the afternoon or apéro. Guests can browse the wine list or ask for a recommendation, with alcohol-free wine also available. Chez Mara offers catering, and its pâtisserie can be ordered in advance, making the bakery selection available for planned occasions as well as visits to the bistro.

Located on Budapester Straße, Chez Mara serves guests from Tuesday to Saturday, with apéro and evening dining on offer. The brand’s focus is on bringing good food and wine together in a relaxed setting, drawing inspiration from the simplicity and conviviality of French bistro culture.
