Chez Bernard is a renowned brand in the gastronomic scene of Salvador, known for its tradition, excellent service, and enchanting view of the Baía de Todos os Santos (All Saints Bay). Established by Monsieur Bernard Goethals, a Frenchman, in 1963, this memorable restaurant remains the only French reference in Salvador. Recently renovated in 2018, Chez Bernard showcases a sophisticated new look across its two floors, with a decor featuring texture, lightness, warm colors, and romantic evening lighting.

The restaurant also boasts a prestigious wine cellar and offers classic French culinary delights on its menu. Led by Chef Laurent Rezette, the cuisine is a celebration of French classics. Additionally, Chez Bernard offers an exclusive event space on the second floor, perfect for hosting unforgettable gatherings, meetings, mini-weddings, and other celebrations.

The space can accommodate up to 40 people, is beautifully decorated, and equipped with separate male and female restrooms. For lunch, Chez Bernard is open from Tuesday to Friday, from 12 pm to 3 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 pm to 4 pm. For dinner, it operates from Tuesday to Saturday, from 7 pm to midnight.
