Chailey Heritage Foundation

Chailey Heritage Foundation is a charity supporting children and young people with complex disabilities, alongside their families. Its work is guided by the belief that every child and young person should have opportunities to explore their potential, make their own choices and live their best life. The foundation brings together education, residential care and community services in a supportive environment.

Chailey Heritage School provides specialist education and is described by the foundation as Ofsted-rated “outstanding.” Residential homes offer children and young people a place to live with security and belonging, while short breaks provide additional support. The foundation’s community services include accessible facilities, equipment and activities, with offerings such as The Activity Place, Aquamovers, Patchwork Farm, the Bradbury Den and GK’s Café. Specialist services and facilities are also available for hire.

Families can access practical information through the Parent Hub, and the foundation shares guidance, news and personal stories about its community. Donations, fundraising, volunteering and charitable events help support its work.
