Chiangmai Thai Massage

Lila Thai Massage, founded by Naowarat Thanasrisutharat, a former Director of Chiang Mai Women’s Prison, offers a unique approach to wellness while addressing significant social issues. Established in 2008, this organization provides opportunities for carefully screened, newly released inmates to reintegrate into society through professional massage therapy. Recognizing the challenges faced by these individuals, Lila Thai Massage has implemented a comprehensive 180-hour training program in partnership with the Chiang Mai Public Health Department, ensuring clients receive expert care from skilled therapists.

Beyond massage services, Lila Thai Massage is committed to fostering community support by employing ex-inmates, particularly women who face societal challenges, such as single mothers and survivors of domestic violence. In 2014, the Lila Thai Massage Ex-Inmate Employment and Skill Development Center was launched, furthering efforts to empower these women through certified training. This holistic initiative not only provides quality massage therapy but also contributes to breaking the cycle of crime, promoting a positive narrative for their therapists and contributing to community betterment.
