About Chicago Bird Alliance
Chicago Audubon Society, founded in 1971, is a chapter of the National Audubon Society. Their mission is to connect people of all communities with birds and nature through educational programming, field trips, advocacy, stewardship, and research. Chicago Audubon Society offers a multitude of activities and programming aimed at expanding the appreciation for nature and providing critical management information to local planning and legislative bodies.
They conduct research programs, lead education campaigns, provide stewardship for birding opportunities and habitats, and organize conferences, publications, and award ceremonies. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn birding techniques or a seasoned conservationist, Chicago Audubon Society welcomes all who are interested in their work. By joining their organization, members receive regular updates on activities and contribute to bird conservation efforts in the Chicago area.
Donations and fundraising efforts further support their important mission. Follow them on social media and join their mailing list to stay connected
