Chicago Magic Lounge is a brand that pays homage to the classic Magic Bars of Chicago. With a rich history rooted in the city's inventive spirit, Chicago Magic Lounge aims to redefine the magic show experience. Chicago-style Magic, characterized by its fast, funny, and personal nature, was born in intimate settings such as Schulien's and the LaSalle Hotel.
These venues brought close-up Magic to the tables and bars, creating a unique and immersive atmosphere. Although many of these magic bars closed in the late 20th century, Chicago Magic Lounge revived this lost era in 2015 by recreating the fun and lightheartedness of Chicago-style Magic. Today, they have a custom Art Deco-style theater, a Magic Bar, the Blackstone Cabaret Theater, and the Close-up Room known as the 654 Club, all under one roof.
After a 15-month closure due to the pandemic, Chicago Magic Lounge is excited to welcome back audiences and continue the tradition of Chicago-style Magic
