Chicago Modest Cremation

Chicago Modest Cremation provides affordable direct cremation services to families in Chicago and the surrounding counties of Will, Lake, Cook, DuPage, and Kane. The family-owned local business emphasizes compassionate, personal care and straightforward arrangements, helping families honor a loved one without the cost of traditional funeral services. Clients work directly with Matthew Bajt, a licensed funeral director who personally manages the cremation process and meets families at home to complete paperwork and answer questions.

The company lists an all-inclusive direct cremation package for $1,600, covering transfer from the place of death during regular business hours, the county cremation permit, flame cremation, and one death certificate. Chicago Modest Cremation highlights transparent pricing with no hidden fees and aims to make arrangements quick and convenient, often completing the paperwork in a single visit. Families can contact the business by phone or email to discuss their needs and receive guidance through the process.
