The Chiera Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to enriching the lives of children and young adults battling cancer. Founded as a tribute to Nicholas Chiera, the organization’s mission is reflected in its name for its programs: N.I.C.K., meaning “Nothing Is Impossible for Cancer Kids.” Its work focuses on practical support, memorable experiences, education, and personal development for young people affected by cancer.

The foundation supports three programs. N.I.C.K.’S Camp helps children attend a five-day summer camp in partnership with Camp Boggy Creek in Eustis, Florida; the foundation reports helping send 150 children to camp. N.I.C.K.’S Scholarships assist young adults who have beaten cancer as they pursue college education. N.I.C.K.’S Golf introduces children undergoing treatment to golf while encouraging life lessons. The foundation also raises funds through events such as its annual dinner, auction, and golf classic, and invites supporters to contribute through donations and Play It Forward initiatives.
