About Chigogidze Wines
Chigogidze Wines is a brand dedicated to reviving rare and forgotten grape varieties such as Tavkveri, Shavkapito, and Chinuri, and making them popular once again. Our focus is on national Qvevri wines, as well as traditional Classic wines. Georgia, known for its breathtaking landscapes and warm-hearted people, has a deep-rooted winemaking tradition dating back thousands of years.
We aim to share the art of Qvevri winemaking with the world. Qvevri wines are made by fermenting grape juice and pulp in huge clay vessels buried in the ground. This ancient method, coupled with the pristine Georgian environment, results in wines that reflect the terroir in every sip.
