Cosy Homes in Lancashire is a countywide initiative dedicated to enhancing energy efficiency and affordable warmth for residents across Lancashire. Launched in 2014 and supported by all local authority chief executives, the scheme has successfully secured over £80 million in funding, benefiting more than 25,000 households. Cosy Homes offers a comprehensive range of services aimed at reducing energy costs, including electricity and heating support, insulation, and access to funding for renewable technologies.

Through partnerships with local installers and energy companies, Cosy Homes facilitates various programs such as the Home Upgrade Grant (HUG), which provides funding for homes lacking gas central heating. They also offer handy person services for small energy-saving projects, ensuring that every household can navigate the process of improving their energy efficiency. With a mission to be Lancashire's “One Stop Shop for Warmth,” Cosy Homes assists residents, landlords, and park homeowners in achieving a warmer, more cost-effective living environment.
