Child and Family Guidance Center (CFGC) is a nonprofit mental healthcare organization dedicated to helping children and families achieve health and well-being. Guided by a person-centered philosophy, it provides outpatient mental health care, prevention and early intervention programs, and community services for children, youth, and families in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Antelope Valleys. Support is offered at CFGC locations, school sites, clients’ homes, and in collaboration with social service agencies.
Its programs include outpatient services, CalWORKs Adulting Services, Enhanced Care Management, and Healthy Families America. CFGC also operates Northpoint School and offers resources for clients and community members. The organization’s work is shaped by its values of integrity, quality, commitment, innovation, and resiliency, with a vision of children and families flourishing in vibrant communities.
In addition to direct services, CFGC provides professional training opportunities, including psychology internships and residency, marriage and family therapy practicum placements, and social work internships.
